To prepare for the network's upgrade to USDC rewards on March 17th, the last missions on the current Stripe system go live on Friday, March 13th. Mission reservations will be disabled the next day, on Saturday, March 14th. All missions will be temporarily deactivated late Monday, March 16th, in preparation for USDCÂ rewards.
On Tuesday, March 17th, missions and mission reservations will reactivate with USDC rewards. Missions will be valued the same; they will just be onchain instead of through Stripe.
Pilots can see these changes on the network explorer, or when browsing missions via the Spexi app.
Nothing changes about how much pilots are earning. Pilots will still be rewarded for every successful mission before and after Tuesday, March 17th; we're just retiring the Stripe system and moving rewards onchain.
Once USDC rewards are live, pilots will need to take a few steps to transfer rewards from their Spexi account's wallet to their bank account. In addition to publishing FAQs, LayerDrone will be publishing step-by-step instructions for finding your wallet, converting USDC to cash, and transferring it to your bank account at support.layerdrone.org.
To help pilots prepare for the upcoming transition to USDC rewards, LayerDrone is creating support resources for pilots at support.layerdrone.org. Check back regularly for more detailed guides.
Alternatively, you can join the LayerDrone Discord, attend our weekly community call, or create a support ticket (if you encounter a product or payment problem) at support@spexi.com.
